I have 2 sheets with product names, on one sheet I want to add any product name that matches from the other sheet for example:
Sheet 1
Product
A
B
Y
Sheet 2
Product
A
C
Y
On sheet 1 I would like to add product A and product Y, while product A may be on the exact same row, product Y will not be so I would need some kind of sum product lookup, any help here?
Your description is a bit confusing, but maybe a sumproduct formula can do the trick for you.
Considering "E" as the column where you have the values to be summed

It really quite simple, I want to add Product A from sheet 1 and product A from sheet 2, not add A and Y together??????
