I need an equation to calculate hour intervals after a specific date/time.
For example, if the date is listed as "4/17/08 9:00AM" I need to calculate 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, etc hours after the date/time listed.
Typically I need to calculate short dates (i.e., 4/17/08 in cell B2) + 7days and can just type =B2+7. This is not working for the long date.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Try:
=B2+TIME(24,0,0) for 24 hours

It is giving me an error message #VALUE!
I noticed when I copy/pasted your time in my cell to check the formula that you don't have a space before the PM...I thought you typed it wrong here, but you must have a space there for the cell to be a true time value.
