    Ranking in correct order

I'm making a kind of match schedule, with automated rankings after filling in the results of a match. I'm now able to give correct points when you win or lose. But I get confused when I start making the ranking.

    The file gives the examples

Now you see that the teams aren't in the correct order in step 2. How can I make it so that it will become automatically like step 3??

    Greetings,

    Ranking

Hi, I moved things around a little on your worksheet to accomadate vlookup which is the way I do selfsorting league tables the problem with that is if you have duplicate rankings so the more criteria you have the better.I ranked 1st by points and then by goal differance and then joined them together with the formulae=Sum(points*10,goaldiff), then ranked the joining together this gave the final ranking which I used for the Vlookup to sort the table.
See the attachment. HTH Regards Howard
