    VLookup question about this spreadsheet

    Hello,
This is my first post. I really hope someone can help me with this spreadsheet. Basically I have a workbook with 5 worksheets. The main sheet is called "Master Sheet", I am trying to create some kind of macro or automated way to look up the sales of item numbers on sheets titled "Store 1, Store 2, Store 3, Store 4" and paste the quantity sold in the correct field on the "Master Sheet". If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

You can do this with a VLOOKUP

    e.g. in Master sheet C3

    and copy down

In colums D, E and F use the same formula with the sheet name in the formula changed to that of the relevant store.

    Regards

    Another option ( a "lighter" one I think) :

    Athurbr,

I like that - I think your formula is probably more efficient than mine.
