    Subtotal for many columns

    Hello,

Using Excel 2007, I'm attempting to calculate the subtotal for many columns (1,000+) and I am looking for a way to avoid having to check all the column headings in the subtotal dialog. Is there an easy way to select them all?

    Thank you.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Any reason why you can't use filtering and then:

    =SUBTOTAL(9,A10:AZ2000)

    Hi Richard,

I need the subtotals calculated for many small groups of rows in the sheet, however I can't see how using filtering I can achive this grouping?

    Thanks again.
