Cannot change part of an array?

I have run into this error message when trying to update a table where a row is 47 columns of "={Transpose(D4:D51)}. Any way around this?

    Hi,

When copying an array function to an array range, don't include the 'copy from cell' in the paste range. i.e. if the array range is D10:D20, don't copy D10 and try pasting to D10:D20 otherwise you get the error you mention. Paste it intead to D11:D20.

You can't insert or delete rows that intersect an array formula.

You can delete the array formula, then insert or delete rows, and then restore the array forumula. Or you can use a different approach that doesn't use an array formula for whatever you're doing.
