When updating linked info from external workbook why does it say file not found?

Hi all,

Hopefully this is one of those times when I'm being a goon and someone will quickly point it out and we can all get on with our lives!

I'm using the following formula:

It works like a dream, but everytime I open the workbook and ask it to update linked info it says 'file not found' and gives me a an open dialogue which has 'Report' as the filename. It don't get it!?!

I have previously created a spreadsheet which refers to a workbook called 'Report' so this may well have something to do with it but frankly I'm stumped.

But I'm copying the location straight out of the address bar in windows, and then adding the September 08.xls because that is the name of the file! I don't see what I'm doing wrong...

If I open the sheet and add the formula using 'function' it inserts just September 08.xls and not the rest of the location. In fact when I put in the full location and hit enter it truncates the location to just September 08.xls - the worksheet the formula is in and September 08.xls reside in the same folder so I guess that may be the reason for that.

Oooops, just found that there was an eroneous formula refering to the 'Report' document. Sorry for wasting your time guys and thanks for your help!
