    Formula to extract data from database

    Hi,

    I want extract data from 1 database and I know how to do it with the Pivot Table. Unfortunately, doens.t show it the way I want.
    I have attached one file with my problem - pls, check sheet RPT.

    Any ideas are welcome.

    Try:

    =SUMPRODUCT((Db!$C$2:$C$9=$A3)*(Db!$E$2:$E$9=B$2))

    in B3 and copied down and across your table

    Once you get an answer that solves your problem, can you please mark your thread as solved by:

    1. Editing your original thread
    2. Clicking Go Advanced
    3. Selecting [Solved] from the drop down that says [No Prefix]
    4. Clicking Submit
