split info in a cell to different cells.

    Hello!

I am trying to separate the information received from PayPal reports into a neat organized report in Excel (for some reason PayPal with all their money and wisdom does not generate Excel reports). Anyhow, their information comes in as follows:

Date, Time, Time Zone, Name, Type, Status, Gross, Fee, Net, From Email Address, To Email Address, Transaction ID, Counterparty Status, Shipping Address, Address Status, Item Title, Item ID, Shipping and Handling Amount, Insurance Amount, Sales Tax, Auction Site, Buyer ID, Item URL, Closing Date, Reference Txn ID, Receipt ID, Balance,
    11/17/2008,"23:22:34","EST","FName LName","Web Accept Payment Received","Completed","5.00","-0.45","4.55","[email protected]","[email protected]","20943875wt-14358","Unverified","FName LName, 123 Main Str. #503, Denver, CO 80209, United States","Non-Confirmed","Payment for Website from username","092384152145","0.00","","0.00","","","","","","","58.74",

That is actually the information from two cells as it comes in from PayPal.
So, what I am trying to do is get rid of most not needed information and split the rest into different cells.
The fields that I do need are the following:
Date, Time, Name, Status, Gross, Fee, Net, Transaction ID, Counterparty Status, Item Title, Balance,
Could someone please tell me how to do that? If you could actually give me the code that would do this, I will be eternally greatful, as I have broken my brain already.
    Many thanks ahead of time!!!

    Dimitri

Use Data > Text to Columns to convert all that data to separate columns, then delete the ones you don't want to keep.

    Choose DELIMITED, then comma.
