    Importing AUS stock prices

    Hi to you all,
I am attempting to import stock data prices (open, low, high, close etc) for several stocks in my excel watchlist. (see attachment) I know a little about data query but when used it appears to load data of US stocks via MSMoneyCentral instead of YahooFinance in AUS. I'm using XL2002. Can anyone help?
    Many thanks

Being a birrova northern hemishpere kinda guy, so wouldn't have the first idea of where to find AUS stock values. If you can point me in the direction of a site that lists the same I could probably help out.

    Hi Dominicb,
    Many thanks for your interest.

Here is an address where data can somehow be exported from and where a password is unnecessary. Hope this helps.

Ages ago I build a macro to use Webquery to download prices from
    http://www.tradingroom.com.au

    This code downloads BHP prices
WhenI was using the entire macro I had a list of stocks on 1 sheet with a summary of the previous days trade & the entire past 12 months prices downloaded into its own sheet for each stock

Have a look at this workbook

I modified your workbook to download prices using web query in a macro from Yahoo

If Yahoo is running slow it can cause a debug error dialog box to pop up.
If you select debug then press F5 the macro will continue

This is one reason I prefer to use http://www.tradingroom.com.au but you can not get todays data until tomorrow
