Dates between Dates, If holiday then select this cell, If not select this cell, If em

Is there a formula I can use so I can fill dates down until a certain date eg start from 12th Dec 08 and finish 27th Jan 09.

Then can I use this in a formula eg so if cell a1 matches any of these dates then use a data if not use b data.

And finaly if b data is empty then select next cell in row if empty then next column until it finds filled cell

Where? You posted a sheet and didn't identify where you were trying to do something with dates?

1.Dates are on public holidays & School Terms sheet. The School terms are the dates I need the dates to between. eg 12 dec 08 - 27 jan 09 so, 13dec,14dec,15dec etc until 27 jan 09

Im guessing I should try and keep all these days in the same row hence the formula required

    2. I want to refer to these dates in a formula I need in Information! sheet. say cell c7

If Information!c4 and Public Holidays & School Terms! row b and c match then use Questions!Am38 if blank chose next cell below if blank then cell to the left until it finds a filled cell
If false I want it to chose say Questions!Ah38 and same process if blank look for others in same row then look in another column until a name is found

Then the cell below needs to go through the same sort of process but ovioulsy I cant repeat the same selction as that person would already be used
