    help with multiple conditions

Hi i have been asked to help come up with a spreadsheet for work and i am a little out of my depth, basically i have a table of multiple rows and columns that i wish to link to another cell, if all of this data matches 1 criteria i want this to come up as good, if any of the data in this table matches a second criteria i want it to come up as ok, and if any of the data matches a third criteria i want it to come up as bad even if there is any data in any of the other cells that match the first 2 criteria.

thanks in advance for your help

    Re: help with multiple conditions

    Hi Thanks for your replies,

basically all the products we sell are tested to different standards, at times these standards can be updated and replaced by a new standard when this happens there is a crossover period between the new standard becomes active and the old one is discontinued, i want to show which items are up to date which have updates available and if any are out of date.

i have attached what i have done so far, the first page will be a list of items that we sell, and i am wanting to report back to column E on this tab, the second page is a table of standards that apply to that product and these will be selected by cascading drop down menus, the 3rd page is just a series of lists for the menus, none of the data in this is accurate i was just going to pick some random numbers to represent some for the updated criteria and some for the out of date criteria until i could figure out how to do this correctly
