using Conditional Formatting on a cell with a drop down list

Please help.

I have a cell that has a drop down list with 20 words.

I want 5 words to highlight red, 5 words to highlight Yellow, and the remaining 10 words to highlight Green.

Example:
In Cell I2 I have the following words:
Deceased, Current, Skip, Can't Find, Payment (when my client chooses either of thoses words, the cell will highlight red. if they choose, John, Cindy, Kate, Marlon, Nevaha, the cellw will highlight yellow, and soforth.

So what i was trying to do was, click on the cell with the drop down list, click format, the conditional formatting...I will click Cell Value Is, equal to, the put Deceased, current, skip, can't find, payment, format, red, ok, ok
dont work

but i did try cell value is, between Deceased and Current, and both of those words highlighted Red but i want to have the other 3 words from the list highlight red.

So I am stuck

I want 5 words in Condition 1 to highlight red, 5 words in condition 2 to highlight Yellow, and 10 words in condition 3 to highlight green. CAn you assist.
