    Time Subtraction

I have a workbook that is generated from the system(AS400)but it wont subtract the time finish -time start.

I get a #Value error in the cells I tried two different formulas

Can someone take a look at it and see what might be the problem?

    Thank You, Mike

    Re: Time Subtraction

You will need to revise the delimiter from period to colon, eg:

    =MOD(SUBSTITUTE(J2,".",":")-SUBSTITUTE(I2,".",":"),1)
    (format as [h]:mm:ss)

Multiply by 24 if you want the above in decimal hourly form
