Extracting values from a Xcel Table

Please find the attached sample find and if someone can help me figure out or write a function for the answer table, I would greatly appreciate the help.

    Many thanks,
    Ken.

    Based on your sample file

Assumes all but section Y:Z must have an "X" in one (and only one) of the columns (ie Y:Z appears to be optional - denoted perhaps by values being encased - eg (1) (2) ?)

Absolutely brilliant! Thanks so much, I really do appreciate that.. that made my job for the day a million times easier, I never figured it'd be that easy, I was busy messing around with IFs and Concatenate.. but I really never thought about using Match.. that was great!

    Thanks,
    Ken.

Re: Extracting values from a Xcel Table

Another quick question. If for example, the sample file that I had sent earlier, the form had been filled by hand and converted to pdf, is there any way to transport that into an excel table similar to the sample file? or do I have to do it manually?
