    Coditional Formating

    Hello,

    I need help with a formula that will format cell B1 if A1 value is Sat or Sun and B1 is an empty cell. A1 is formated as: ddd

    conditional format on B1 - formula is

    =AND(B1="",OR(TEXT(A1,"ddd")="Sat",TEXT(A1,"ddd")="Sun"))

    or

    =AND(B1="",OR(WEEKDAY(A1)=1,WEEKDAY(A1)=7))
