Automatically update week depending on the date

    Hi,

    I need help.

I have put in a formula on the target and Lost store data $ sheet to automatically update the week depending on the date. Starting week 1- 01.05.10.

On the Summary page I have set up the date to be automatically updated, but I want to put in a formula in the week cell that will automatically update what week it is depending on the date. E.g today is the 05/05/10- so it is week 1, but if it was the 09/05/10 it would be week 2.

Also in the summary sheet, I want to display that weeks data ( depending on that weeks data to still be inserted in the relevent sheet) and the YTD data. E.g if it was week 40, i need to show the data from week 1-40 on the YTD, but on the This Week only week 40

Hello & Welcome to the forum,

For question #1 look up in Excel Help for Weeknum.

For the second part, can you zero in on where you need these formulas and where is the data coming from. You didn't seem to say what sheet but could it be from Target and Lost $ data?

I can't use weeknum as it automatically counts the weeks from 1 Jan.

I need it to start week 1 on 01 May,
