Worksheet_change doesn't fire

I'm using Excel 2007 and simply cannot put this function to work:

already checked:
Application.EnableEvents = True
And the worksheet_change procedure is in "this workbook"

The sub doesn/t seem to fire. Saving and reeopening doesn't help either
