Trying to prevent "(blank)" from appearing in Pivot Table within empty cells

This is happening intermittently, but noticebly since we switched to Office 2007. When I create a pivot table based on a table of data with some empty cells in the data table, then the pivot table displays "(blank)"; however, I want to remove that or prevent it from appearing.

Attached is a sample that illustrates the issue. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Karen,

No attached file. Check when you attach a file that it isn't too big (less than a meg?).

It is like an oxymoron to not want a blank to not show.

Have you tried to filter the values area of your pivot table? I need the example to try it.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
