Excel formula for three conditions

Hi,
I have a problem to produce counts that need to match three conditions. Hoping to get some help.

I have such a table as per the attached 'sample data.xlsx' file.
This is what I need to do:

"for all rows where Iteration=1,
count all State=Active, where Severity=Showstopper;
count all State=Closed, where Severity=Showstopper;
.
.
.
for all rows where Iteration=2,
count ...
.
.
."

Basically for all combination of columns B, C and E.

You can do this with COUNTIFS but you'd need separate tables.

However, you'd be better with a Pivot Table.
