    Nested IF's and VLOOKUP's

I am using the following formula which reports a "N/A" error:

    =IF(M19=0,(VLOOKUP(K19,'Data for Formulas'!$F$2:$V$17,2)),IF(M19=1,(VLOOKUP(K19,'Data for Formulas'!$F$2:$V$17,3)),IF(M19=2,(VLOOKUP(,'Data for Formulas'!$F$2:$V$17,4)),IF(M19=3,(VLOOKUP(K19,'Data for Formulas'!$F$2:$V$17,5)),IF(M19=4,(VLOOKUP(K19,'Data for Formulas'!$F$2:$V$17,6)),IF(M19=5,(VLOOKUP(K19,'Data for Formulas'!$F$2:$V$17,7)),IF(M19=6,(VLOOKUP(K19,'Data for Formulas'!$F$2:$V$17,8,2)))))))))

There is data in each of the cells referenced in the formula so I'm not sure why I'm getting the error.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Laura

    Hi Laura,

You might be dealing with a data mismatch. Check for numbers behaving as text.

Also, have you considered an alternate to your formula:
