Percentage of entries completed

Hi, apologies for the possible simplicity of this thread but i am a excel mong! I have made a matrix showing a number of organised events. I want to show the percentage of these events which have been completed, canceled and are to take place. and make it so it automatically changes as ammendments are made and events added. Any ideas?
