    Add Current Date but when i save it, date doesn't change when reopened

    Hi, i have been searching all over and can not find a solution. I need to add the current date to A1 but after i save and open to revise the worksheet the orginal date doesn't change.

    You mean you're trying to add the "date created" into a sheet1!A1 the first time the sheet is saved?

    You could put this macro into the ThisWorkbook module, it will insert a date stamp if that cell is empty, leave it alone after that:

    If that takes care of your need, please click EDIT in your original post, click GO ADVANCED and set the PREFIX box to SOLVED.
