    Pivot Calculated Field Problem

    Hello,

Does anyone know how to create a Calculated Field within a pivot table based upon the difference between values within a single field?

I have included a graphic that shows the field, called "Type" with two values: "Actual" and "BUDGET_INPUT."

I am trying to see how far I am under or over budget by introducing the formula (Actual-Budget)/Budget as a calculated field. However, I have not determined how to do this.

I have created a basic formula in a column called "PCT" which has the desired output for reference.

    Can anyone offer assistance?

    Thanks,
    B Glass

    Hi B Glass,

Yes, you can have a calculated field which says (Actual-Budget)/Budget but it would be better if these two are columns...!!
Any ways post a sample file to enable us to give a try at least
