Unhappy Need hyperlink in cell qnly if adjacent cell to left is blank...

I have attached a workbook created in Excel 2003 that uses a hyperlink to pass a stock symbol to IBD website to create a chart of that stock. This works fine in column D because all cells in column C contain a stock symbol.

In columns J, L, and N not all of the cells contain symbols, some are blank. I would like to not have the hyperlink in the cell in columns K, M, and O if the cell to the left is blank. I have tried to imbed the hyperlink in an if statement, but couldn't get it to work.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi
You can hide them with an If statement. Some of your formulas in columns J;L & N contain a space between the "" in the false return. Remove it from your formulas and the If statement with the Hyperlinks should work.

    Hope this helps.
