auto select rows and delete

how do you auto select rows to delete where data volume can vary.

please refer to spread sheet, i want to delete all rows with data "dad"

do i need a macro to do this?

If you want to delete it, you need a macro. If it is ok to hide it, you can use a table. Add column headings (ie number, Parent), then use the menu INSERT\Table. This will add a fitler, Then filter on Mum.
