    Need help Adding the quantity of fields together

    I am working on a project where I have 10 columns by 800 Rows, Each of the columns have verying bits of data. I need to essentiall tally up each field for the correspoding row. So for instance one row may have 3 fields filled in where as, another may have all 10. I am not adding numbers, But tallying the quantity of fields that have information in them. Is there any way to do this with out the age old method of counting with your eyes and inputing a number?

    help would be greatly appreciated on this matter

    Hey there,

    I believe the function you are looking for is COUNTA, I have provided an example below.

    K1=COUNTA(A1:J1)

    the above formula counts the number of cells in range A1:J1 that have any data
