I'm attempting to do a vlookup and when I type into the formula bar I get the correct result, but in my spreadsheet the formula is printed. Any help?

Press the key combination (CTRL + `) and check if this works. thanks.
If this does'nt work, check if you have formatted the cell as TEXT and if so, change them to general and press F2 and press Enter.
