searching for specific data in one workbook and copies it to a 2nd workbook

    Hello,

I have two workbooks, one that has a whole bunch of data called “data”. Suppose this workbook contains tons of ID numbers and other information on these id numbers like specific dates. The 2nd workbook “main”, is the workbook where I want the information from the data workbook copied.

In the “main “workbook I want to be able to click a button on the sheet and have it look in the “data” workbook for only the ID numbers that are in the “main” workbook. If the ID number in the main workbook is in the “data” workbook (not all the id numbers in the data workbook will be in the main workbook), than it should copy the corresponding data from date 1, date 2 and date 3 and paste the info in the main workbook.

Since the workbooks I attached are samples, my real data may be in different columns or rows…. so not having it linked to “fixed” columns or rows would be great!

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hello, thanks for the response!

I am getting a run time '424'error object required. It takes me to lstRow = .Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A65000").End(xlUp).Row

    Thanks
