Need to combine multiple values for a client list

I have a spreadsheet made up of sold customer data that contains a Selling Price field for each record. Some customers are one-time purchasers and others are repeats. The repeat customer records are made up of all duplicate fields except the Selling Price field which contains the price for that individual purchase event. I need to figure out a way to have Excel segment the list by the customer names and then add each customer's Selling Price field(s) together in order to end up with a Total Value for each customer record. Example:

    Mary Jones $100.00
    Mary Jones $150.00
    Mary Jones $125.00
    John Smith $100.00
    Gary Williams $200.00
    Gary Williams $150.00
    Tom Zinger $200.00

    Mary Jones $100.00
    Mary Jones $150.00
    Mary Jones $125.00
    Total Value $375.00

    John Smith $100.00
    Total Value $100.00

    Gary Williams $200.00
    Gary Williams $150.00
    Total Value $350.00

    Tom Zinger $200.00
    Total Value $200.00

Any ideas as to how I can get this accomplished?
    Thanks!
