Good morning,
Running Excel 2007 and am trying my best to automate tasks in my home grown spreadsheet but have hit a wall. Not sure if I went about getting to this point the right way or not, but I now have a manageable list of parts that I now want to sort by vendor and merge all duplicates into one master order. I have attached my file but not sure I can properly explain what I need... but here goes !!
I have deleted the other tabs and what they are doing, so please focus on the "Sheet1" tab. You see my filtered list of material (from a different source in the correct spreadsheet) starting in cell H4. Because of my filtering and data parsing, the columns may not make sense or show "#N/A" but I can work that out myself. From here I would like a list that starts in cell A3 that would identify all duplicate parts that have a quantity associated, and then sort that list by vendor. I am identifying correct part numbers by the "H" column and if it has a valid number in it or not. All other rows are kind of junk really and may contain blanks or "#N/A", at least as far as my material order is concerned.
Any help is appreciated !! I had previously posted this in the Programming Forum but got no hits after a week so I am trying here as well !! I would prefer to not have to run macros but if there is no other way, then I guess I am stuck !!
Thanks in advance,
Tom
