    Vlookup to return multiple rows

In this spreadsheet, a user will choose a company name, product, state and date (some may be blank) and should then see all the 'News' rows that match his selections.

I see from other posts that this involves the index formula in an array function but am not smart enough to figure out the formula.

Could someone please let me know the formula - thank you!

hi macaonghus. since you are using Excel 2010, you can do a pivot & use a new feature, the slicer. i dont have Excel 2010 with me now. you can refer to this:
    http://www.baycongroup.com/office2010/slicer/

if you can't figure it out, i can try to do a sample for you tomorrow

Interesting; I've created that, and will play with it for a while, but I think this won't be very intuitive for the user, so I still need the vlookup-like format. Thank you.
