Exclamation need help, cross reference, multiple vlookups

    Hi,

I have an issue with some references, so i have a set of data for vendors, each is separated by retail, professional, international etc channels.

I am trying to use a vlookup to reference this information back to a set of raw data so I can separate the retail from the professional, etc. However, the vlookup that I am using is '=VLOOKUP(G7,VENDORS!$E$4:$I$38,1,0)' which only allows me to reference back the vendor data, what I want to do is make a vlookup that compiles all the data from the table and separates professional from retail on my raw data so I can more easily create a pivot, also is there any way that after I make that vlookup I can add a formula after it so that instead of just giving me back a customer name I can make it give me back a different message on the cell, instead of it saying for example 'Macys' I want it to say 'Retail' and so on, thanks!
