Comparing two columns and displaying a third value if they match

    HI,

I was hoping someone could help me with the following formula:

In column A I have start times, column B end times and in column c I have case names. I am trying to compare the content of column c to a constant cell containing the case name in a different location in the spreadsheet. If they match I would like the value of column A to be added in a list. It might be easier to explain if you look at the s/s attached.

Underneath the case name Monkey I would like it to display the start time. For this the first would be 12:30 then 13:48 and so on and so forth, but I don't want it to display any of the TEST times, I want those to appear under test and so on and so forth.

Any help would be really appreciated. Book1.xlsx

I'm looking at your file you uploaded.
Where are the start times in column A, all I see is material names, column B, I cant see any end times, just material numbers, column C all I see is Total needed for this part. Where is this "Monkey"!

Am I missing something! It's not April the 1st is it.

    @ pdxcollegegrl

Based on your last post it seems that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received but you haven't marked your thread as SOLVED. I'll do that for you now but please keep in mind for your future threads that Rule #9 requires you to do that yourself. If your problem has not been solved you can use Thread Tools (located above your first post) and choose "Mark this thread as unsolved".
    Thanks.

Actually, the "star" is at the bottom left of every post.
