Predicting sales percentages based on amount of calls taken

What I am looking to do is predict the amount of call a agent can take to hit certain percentages.
Such as if a agent was to take 10 calls and one call was a sale the agent would have a close rate of 10%. The following formula =ROUNDUP((0.2*B7-D7)/0.8,0) will predict how many sales one would need to take to hit 20% close rate. I would like to also predict the opposite. If a agent was to take 10 calls and 5 were sales how many more calls could the agent (if all calls were failed sales) before the percentage would hit 20%.
    Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Predicting sales percentages based on amount of calls taken

Can you provide a spreadsheet for this please?

You haven't stated what B7 and D7 are actually for and I don't want to write the formula just to find out I have it all backwards.

    Thanks

    Danny

EDIT: I still don't know if this is correct but it seems like it should do the trick. Have a play with it and see what you think. Once I understand the question better I may be able to help you.

    Sales Tracker Draft.xlsx

    Danny,

Attached is the sheet (should have added to first post sorry)

By looking at cell U 3-6 you can see they calculate 20, 25, 30, 35 percent. With this being a inbound call center we do not know how calls the sales agent will take by the end of their schedule. So the formula would have to calculate the percentage based on C7 (total calls) and D7 (total sales based on C7). What I would like to so is if the agent has 23% close rate how many calls could be a missed sale (as shown in your spreadsheet) before returning to 20% something like -4

If you see anything in the formulas that look sloppy please let me know.

    Thank you for the help!
