How to create multiple Dynamic Named Ranges at once? and Limit in excel 2010

Hello All,

I have a situation, where i have to create 500+ named ranges in a excel to track the my team work activities.

I can create them at once, but they are not dynamic(i am seeing blanks if i use these named ranges in data validation).

Can anyone help me how to create multiple dynamic name ranges quickly. and, is there any limit for named ranges in excel 2010?

Try this formula

=OFFSET(A2,0,0,COUNTA(A:A)-1)

is there any other simple way to create all 500+ named ranges at once?i have to spend a lot of time to create/repeate this formual for all 500 times.

my paln is to create all dynamic 500 named ranges, want to use them in data validation through indirect function.
