Recurring sequence: Include date for 5 days, then ignore next 2.

    Hi there,

I have data for each day of the week. Monday to Friday has date, whilst Saturday and Sunday are closed and hence has no data, and is always represented with 0.

I need a formula that gives me the data where the recurring sequence is consistent - 5 successive days, ignores the next 2 days etc. The raw data is in column A, and the expected data should look like Column B.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Adam

You get better help if you post an Excel-file (example of your workbook), without confidential information.

Make sure the workbook demonstrates your desired results if possible, or just highlight the cells you're trying to fix.

Use BEFORE/AFTER sheets if that helps make it clearer.

That's not a very helpful example.

What should appear under other circumstances, and why?

I think helpbitte wants to delete the 0 (null) in column A.

It can be done with a filter and delete the filtered items (rows).

Maybe a macro is a better solution, but i can't make the macro.

This one works for me if the 0 is in column A
