    Arrow Creating Calculations on Dates

    I am setting up a worksheet that will list tasks, their start dates, durations and I am using the Workday function to calculate the end date for the task. I am then using conditional formatting to develop a gantt chart which displays the tasks.

    The calculation works fine but when I do not have a start date the answer is displayed as 00/01/1900, I do not want this to happen, I want to leave the cell empty or enter a 0. I have tried to use the ISBLANK function within the formula but this does not work.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks
    Kate

    can you not just use something like;

    =if(workday(date calc)=0,"",workday(date calc))

    Hope that helps!

    Thank you very much, that did work. It created a problem with the conditional formatting but I managed to fix that!!

    Thanks for taking the time to look at it.

    Cheers
