SUMIFS statement where the returned value depends on Date

Looking for a SUMIFS statement (i think) where the value returned will depend on the date.

I need the statement for the highlighted areas of the attached.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need a formula that I can put in Columns F, G and H of Book 1.
If the Invoice was dated between 1Jan2012 and 3March2012 the formula will pull the price relative to the Item Code listed in book2, and insert that price in Column F. If the invoice was dated between 4March and 1April the price will appear in column G, and if dated on or after 1April it will appear in column H.

Has this made it any clearer??
