Find cells within 24 hour time range, time can go to next day

I need to find a formula or method to find cells that fall between time ranges:
7 am - 1 am, 1 am - 7 am, 12 pm - 1 pm. It would be nice to label it 7 am - 1 am "morning", 1 am - 7 am "grave shift", and 12 - 1pm "lunch"

Do you know a way? PLEASE HELP! I have googled for hours on this.

can you post a sample format you are working with?

I not sure what you mean , with reference to your shift times etc. See if you can adapt the file I have attached.
It uses the VLOOKUP function, but you could use the LOOKUP function.
