    conditional formatting and percentages

i have a problem i need help with.

in Cell A1 is a value which indicates a store maximum pallets.

everytime we send a pallet a calculation happens and sums up the value in b1

i want to colour scale B1 as to the percentage of A1.

so if A1 is 10 and B1 is 10 then B1 is red. If B1 is 1 then its green. so the colour of B1 is a slide scale dependant on the value compared to A1.

    Makes sense?

Is A1 a constant? If yes, you could set up a 2-color scale by defining the minimum and maximum values that B1 might reach. See attached

no a1 is not constant, it will vary from store to store.
