Formula to calculate total service date?

    Hi,

What formula can i use to populate a 'Total days service' as a number of days from a 'Start date' that is real time and progresses with current calendar days?

I have attached a basic Spreadsheet with an employee's start date as the 01aug12, therefore i need the formula to populate a total days service from start date and using current calendar date?

    Thanks

Hi, Thanks this works but how can i get the value to return with 'days' at the end?

Also when the cell 'C2' is blank the formula'd cells all return with todays date, what formula can i use so that when C2 is blank nothing is populated?

    Thanks again

Yes i did, the if function is to stop the forumla populating todays date in every cell when the start date is blank.

I guess your question is answered - just add the ampersand and the string - and you're welcome!
