    Drop down box dilemma

I am wanting to add a drop down box that will display, in list form, a group of vendors. However, upon selection, I need it to add the address of the vendor below the name. I have tried a variety of options to achieve this, but nothing has worked.

Please advise if you have a solution for this.

    Hello there,

Where do you want to add the address to? In the drop down box itself or below the selected item on the worksheet? Also, if you could provide a sample workbook that mimics what you are trying to do that might help us help you as well.

    Thanks!

I am wanting the address to appear below the vendor name (so it would be vendor specific).

    Hello there,

Base on your sample, try placing the following formula in cell B8 of the Purchase Order worksheet

    =VLOOKUP("*" & B7 & "*",VENDORS!A1:A3,1,FALSE)

Then type in Cell B7 Home Depot

Let me know if this is what you were looking for!

    Thanks!

I tried your suggestion. Need to know if I need to expand the cells on the PURCHASE ORDER page to reflect the same size as the VENDORS page? It is putting the information all on one line, and I need it to look like a typical address.

Just select the wrap text option for cell B8
