I been looking in the forum for examples but I'm afraid this level of excel is above my knowledge level.
Heres my problem.
I have to monitor the attendance of students across 36 teaching classes.
I have an excel workbook that has 36 'linked' single page attendance/register sheets (these pages single sheets are updated by tutors).
What I want to do is to search the entire workbook for a student name/surname and then show the "row information" for that student.
for example joe brown takes three classes , I enter his first and surname into cells and i get to see the three rows (from three different sheets) that he appears on. I can then track his attendance.
I'm a Media lecturer and this is completely above me.
I've attached the excel workbook, I've had to reduce the number of sheets in the excel file to come under the attachment limit.
Any help greatly appreciated .
