Say I have the following:
Cell A1 =
1
Cell B1 =
1
Cell C1 =
A1+B1
How do I make Cell C1 show =1+1 in the formula bar as opposed to the cell references. However I want the cell to show 2.

If you actually type =1+1 in the formula bar, it will show =1+1 in the formula bar and 2 in the cell. But, as far as I know, you can't have a formula showing the values in the referenced cells.

You can highlight "A1" in the formula bar and hit F9 to calculate A1
You'll then see = 1 + B1
Then you can do the same for B1 getting
=1 + 1
However, if you exit the cell, it will become permanent and you'll lose your references to A1 and B1. You need to hit Escape
(or you could use the undo button).
Not sure how that would ever be useful though. You can also use "Evaluate Formula" on the Formula Tab

Typing wouldn't help because the "1"s are just examples, the actual value is generated by a report and varies on a daily basis. So C must be a formula referencing Cell A1 and B1. Once I get that I want to copy cell C1 and paste it into another worksheet. When pasted into another worksheet I want it to show "=1+1" in the formula bar and 2 in the cell. I also don't want the formula bar to show =[Book1]Sheet1!$C$1
As TMS said, seems like this is impossible.
