    Hiding Formulas by password

I prepare MIS reports for my company.
for that I use a lot of formulas and functions.
can the formulas and functions be protected from viewing or editing by giving a password.

Means only the person who knows the password can see the Formulas and functions used in the sheet.

    Please Help

    Thank You

hi Bikash Shaw, highlight the cells with the formulas you want to hide & right click -> Format Cells -> Protection -> Hidden
then right click the worksheet Name & Protect Sheet.

Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.

    Re: Hiding Formulas by password

By this solution the whole sheet is getting protected.

i need to protect only the cells which have formulas in it because other cells are volatile nag gets changed regularly.

    Re: Hiding Formulas by password

in the same tab in the format cells, you should see "Locked" checked. Select the whole worksheet first by pressing CTRL + A. uncheck that option. then select the cells you want to lock/hide & check both of them. this way, by protecting the worksheet now, the rest are unlocked & unhidden
