create a matrix from a list (difficulty: values spread over mutliple rows and columns)

Hi guys,

The file attached should explain the problem I have (attached list is a small subset, the file I have is 5O columns wide and 1000 records long)

I have a list, and want to create a matrix which indicates if corresponding matrix values occur on the same line anywhere in my list. Tried with index and match formula, but difficulty is that the values in the list are spread over mutliple rows and columns.

Any ideas how to achieve this?
