Total and Average where name in column 1 is the same

    Hi there,

How do I total (general numbers) and average (percentages) when the name in column 1 is the same?
I would also like to export to another sheet if possible.

    Thanks
    Astamil

    Use Pivot Table.
Only first name your columns (I've just put name1, name2 etc) and then use columns you want to sum or count.

A pivot table is the way to go, especially if the # of rows in your data changes frequently - and you are familiar with creating/modifying Pivot Tables. If you're not quite up to speed with Pivot Tables, and the size of your data set is pretty much constant, you could use the formulas that I have added in rows 64, 65 and 66.
