    Question Fill in consecutive ID numbers

    Any short way or formula?

    Do all of the id numbers start with DZ?

    No.

    "DZ" is for Dozer

    There are a lot of them,

    "TH" is for = "Truck Heavy"

    "TL" is for Tower Lights

    SL, DP, LV, LW, etc..

    Sounds like there are many variations, but if you move the one id into what I'm guessing could be column A, once that's done you can follow the instructions on this site to fill in the blanks. http://www.contextures.com/xlDataEntry02.html

    If you are satisfied with the solution(s) provided, please mark your thread as Solved.

    New quick method:
    Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.

    Or you can use this way:

    How to mark a thread Solved
    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save
