Fantasy Basketball Help

Hello guys,

I am trying to determine how many times a player appears in the top 10 of a statistical category. I have tried If statements and sums, but I just don't know where to begin.

Please find the files attached in the PG sheet, I have begun some analysis but stuck on the problem I have mentioned above. Your help is very much appreciated.

Just a thought....add columns so you can put the players names with each category and sort each catgory accordingly then add column to add their rank in each category (1, 2, 3, ...) then build a pivot table first based on the rank (1, 2, 3...) and then the names...if it counts the ranks it should return a number of times they had that rank in each catgory...I did this with the spreadsheet but for some reason it will not let me build a pivot table but I think it would return what you are looking for...a little more work to diseminate the information but probably required to get the results you are looking for.

Hey rayBekeris, thanks for the help. I just gave it a try and all I got was the number of times it shows up for one of the columns not all of them. For example if you look at Kyrie Erving he's got 7 top 10 places I just need to get that 7 # to show for each player who's got their place on the top 10
